  • Do you take reservations?

    Currently Brophy’s Ventura accepts reservations M-Th, not exceeding 10 people, however, you are welcome to join the daily waitlist via Yelp; Reservations & Waitlist

  • Do you have a happy hour?

    Yes, Brophy Bros. Ventura’s Happy hour is M-Friday 3-6:30.  Our Happy hour menu is available at Happy Hour Menu. Happy hour seating is limited to the dining room and bar area only please. 

  • Can we bring our dog?

    We allow only service dogs at Brophy Bros upstairs, and can be seated either in the dining room or on the patio, however our On the Alley location downstairs has dog friendly patios and does offer some Brophy’s favorites.  Please go online to OTA Ventura to see our sister restaurants menu.

  • Do you have gluten free options?

    Yes, our Cioppino as well as all of our fresh seafood entrees (hold the sauce) are gluten free. As well, many of our Clam bar offerings such as steamed clams, mussels, shrimp cocktail and the peel & eat make a nice choice for a Gluten free meal.

  • Do you have vegetarian options?

    Brophys offers a Black bean burger (optional; gluten free bun), skewers of grilled veggies and a side salad, or rice pilaf for our in house vegetarian’s.

  • Do you sell gift cards?

    Yes, please visit us at www.brophybrosventura.com , (Gift Cards tab) to purchase a digital gift card that can be emailed to the recipient, you may also stop in and purchase at the restaurant.

  • What days are you open?

    Brophy's Ventura is open everyday at 11am-9pm, closing at 10pm on Fridays & Saturdays

  • Do you take reservations on holidays?

    Brophy Bros. Ventura is first come first serve on all major holidays, including the annual Parade of Lights in December.

  • Do you accept any large party reservations?

    Coming soon private spaces on our downstairs patios & dining room space will be available.

  • Do you have outdoor seating?

    Yes, Brophy's Ventura has the best view overlooking the Ventura Harbor.  We have ceiling fans, ceiling heaters, and drop down awnings to keep the patio temperature comfortable year round.  Still, during cooler months we do recommend a light jacket.

  • Do you have live music?

    Sorry, Brophys does not offer live music, but we have a great playlist!

  • Do you have an elevator?

    Yes, Brophy Bros. Ventura has an elevator located at the lower level restrooms just beneath the restaurant, and stops at our backdoor.

  • Is there parking out front? Is it free?

    Yes, Brophy's Ventura has plenty of free, available parking just out front.

  • Can I call and order take out?

    Sorry, Brophys does not accept phone orders for carry out. Please go to OTA Ventura to place & pay for your order.  Ordering is available up to 7:45 pm daily and can be picked up at the downstairs On the Alley counter.

  • Do you accept Apple pay?

    Yes, Brophys accepts Apple pay

  • Do you offer any other protein than seafood?

    Yes, Brophys has 10 oz. NY Steak, ½  lb Cheeseburger as well as Chicken Sandwich and Blackened Chicken salad on our menu.

  • Do you have beer on tap?

    Yes, Brophy's Ventura offers six beers on tap including local favorites that are also featured on our Happy hour menu.
